Jolene of Black Powder - reg. 66187 and [CAN] 18209 - SOLD

Jolene is a remarkable dun cow born on 5/31/21. She calved out a beautiful heifer calf, Nixy of Crocus Hill, independently on 5/27. Nixy was born at 60 lbs. Nixy is DNA confirmed to be sired by LSK Chestnut 63791, and she is double negative for Myostatin NT821. Jolene is a protective, capable cow. While she had no issues caring for her calf, she did not tolerate interruptions while doing so. Jolene has been exposed to LSK Chestnut since June 12th, and we will be pulling him from pasture around August 12th. We only recommend Jolene as a purchase to an experienced cattle owner. Jolene is available for purchase individually or as a cow/calf pair. She has tremendous shape and coloring, and she will raise some incredible calves!
